Our platform acts as a comprehensive hub where students can access detailed information about various educational institutions, their academic programs, authorized recruitment agents (educational consultancies) and their branches, as well as their certified counselors and corresponding programs. Educational consultancies play a pivotal role in the counseling process for students aspiring to study within the country or abroad. Institutions grant authorization to different educational consultancies to act as their representatives and recruit students globally. These consultancies will be listed on our website, showcasing their branches, the institutions they represent, academic programs, certified counselors, and the services they offer.
Through our platform, we aim to streamline the process of educational travel by providing access to a diverse range of service providers. Our platform serves as a facilitator, ensuring seamless access to essential services for students through online connectivity.
1.1. Eligibility:
To use this platform, you must be over the age of 18, or have obtained parental or guardian consent if less than 18.
1.2. How does our service work?
Through our online platform, users can readily access information about various educational institutions, their programs, and other services pertinent to studying nationally and internationally. We simplify the process by enabling users to compare different services and schedule appointments to receive guidance from expert counselors affiliated with numerous study abroad service providers, universities, colleges, and other relevant service providers throughout their academic journey. When you book an appointment to receive complete guidance on studying abroad through our platform, you are entering into a contract with the service provider.
1.2.1 The information provided on our platform is based on what the service providers share with this platform through listing. While we strive to show the information up to date, we cannot guarantee that everything on our platform is accurate. All the information is provided by service providers. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information, but we do not make any warranties or representations as to the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the information provided.
1.2.2 You further agree and acknowledge that we solely serve as a facilitator and cannot be a party to providing counseling services to students or offering any other services. While we take reasonable care in providing our platform, we do not guarantee admission to any educational institution, provision of education loans, or other services related to your educational journey.
1.2.3 We are not a party to the terms between you and the service providers. The service provider is solely responsible for any of the counseling process for studying in national or international academic institutions such as colleges or universities.
1.2.4 Our platform is not a recommendation or endorsement of any service provider or its products, services, facilities, accommodation etc.
1.2.5 The information provided through the Platform's website is intended for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Study Counselors Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for any decisions made based on the information provided through the Platform.
1.3 Who do we work with?
We display only those service providers that have a contractual relationship with us. These service providers may offer various programs related to studying abroad through our platform, including programs offered by different educational Institutions (universities and colleges). Our platform shows you the number of available appointment slots worldwide and our search results page provides an estimate of how many appointments might be suitable for you based on the information provided by the service providers.
2. Payment Policy:
We do not charge students for our services; however, service providers may charge fees for their offerings. Any payments you choose to make to service providers are at your own discretion and responsibility. We encourage you to conduct thorough research and make informed decisions before committing financially. Additionally, we strongly recommend making payments, such as university/college fees or service fees, directly through a secure banking channel to the respective stakeholders' official accounts. We are not involved in or responsible for any financial transactions between you, service providers, or any third-party stakeholders
3. Appointment policy:
To make a booking appointment, you may need to create an account. It is important that all the information, including your address and contact details, provided in the account is accurate and up to date. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Therefore, you should not share your account login details with anyone, and you must keep your username and password confidential.
At Study Counselors, we recognize that circumstances may require the cancellation, confirmation, or rescheduling of appointments by both service providers and users (students). If you anticipate being late, we kindly ask that you promptly inform your service provider of your expected arrival time to avoid cancellation. Please note that Study Counselors is not responsible for any consequences, including booking cancellations or fees charged by the service provider due to tardiness. To ensure smooth service and accommodate all users, we have established the following cancellation policy:"
3.1 Cancellation by Users (Students):
If you need to cancel an appointment or a service that has been scheduled with a consultant, please ensure that you do so at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, you may be subject to a cancellation fee determined by the service provider. This fee could be a percentage of the service fee or a flat fee, depending on the provider's policy.
3.2 Cancellation by Consultant:
In the event that the consultant needs to cancel an appointment, they will do so at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. If the consultant cancels within 24 hours of the appointment time, they will make every effort to reschedule the appointment at a time that is convenient for the client.
3.3 Refunds:
Refunds for canceled appointments or services are at the discretion of the service providers. Study Counselors Pvt. Ltd. does not influence or guarantee any refund decisions. We recommend discussing the refund policy directly with the service provider before booking to ensure clarity on their terms and conditions.
3.4 Reschedule of Appointments:
If you need to make changes to a scheduled appointment, you should do so at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. The consultant will make every effort to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee that changes can be made.
3.5 No Show:
If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment and do not cancel within the designated time frame, you may be charged a no-show fee, subject to the terms and conditions set by the service provider.
4.1 At StudyCounselors.com.np, we prioritize your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. When you create an account, complete your profile, or book an appointment with a service provider on our platform, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, passport number, education history, and related certificates.
4.2 We will only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or as necessary to provide you with our services.
4.3 Your personal information may be accessed by different service providers with whom you have made an appointment for processing study abroad applications. While we facilitate connections between you and these service providers, we are not responsible for the misuse of your personal information by the service providers you engage with. We strongly advise you to research and verify the credibility of service providers before making an appointment, as your personal information will be shared with them upon appointment.
4.4 By using our platform, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
5.1 This platform will not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this platform or the services provided, including but not limited to errors or omissions in the information provided. We are not responsible for any actions or omissions of the service providers. Any disputes or issues with the service providers should be resolved directly with the service providers. The platform will not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred by the student as a result of using the platform or engaging a consultant through the platform.
5.2 We are not responsible for any financial transactions made between you and the service providers. If users are cheated by service providers, the platform will not be responsible for such deception. Before availing of any service, users should conduct thorough research and analysis of the service providers.
5.3 Students are required to submit university/college fees prior to visa application in certain countries. Please make payments according to the guidelines provided by consultants or counselors listed on our website and in accordance with the regulations of the respective countries' embassies. Study counselors cannot be held responsible for any transactions made directly with the educational institutions or any payments made to third-party agents for any mode of fee purposes. It is advised that students and their parents conduct thorough research before making any transactions. We do not assume liability for such transactions. Refunds for fees paid will be issued by the institution in the event that a visa is not granted. Undertaking such transactions is done at your own risk.
Our platform reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the platform following any changes to these terms and conditions will be deemed acceptance of those changes. We reserve the right to modify or terminate our platform at any time. You have to check our student’s policy time by time.
Any dispute arising from or in connection with the use of this platform will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of Nepal but cannot be held responsible for the outcome.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the platform and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations, whether written or verbal.
Students are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor when interacting with the service providers and their authorized counselors. Discrimination or harassment of any form will not be tolerated.
Students are expected to provide accurate and truthful information to the counselor, as this will enable the counselor to provide the necessary guidance and support.
Compliance with rules and regulations:
Students are expected to comply with all the rules and regulations set forth by the service providers they attend.
At Study Counselors Pvt. Ltd., we are committed to safeguarding your personal information and ensuring it is only retained for as long as necessary. Your data will be retained while your account is active and will be deleted or disabled under the following circumstances:
13.1 Visa Obtained: Once you have successfully obtained your visa, your account and associated data will be automatically deleted three months after the visa issuance.
13.2 Involvement in Illegal Activity: If you are found to be involved in any illegal activity or breach the terms and conditions of our platform, your account and data will be immediately disabled or deleted.
13.3 Inactivity: If your account remains inactive for one year, your data will be automatically deleted or disabled.
Please note that once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Our platform reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these terms and conditions.
By using the Study Counselors Pvt. Ltd. platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and all other applicable policies. Your continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using the platform immediately.
